WALKING & WORKING SURFACES AUDIT & FALL PROTECTION GAP ASSESSMENT – Center Boiler and Chiller Rooms- Main Hospital: Major NYC Healthcare System, NY

Novisal helped the facilities management and EHS staff of a major NYC healthcare system to ensure that fall protection protocols met the organization’s H&S standards, satisfied applicable regulations, and met or exceeded industry standards. Novisal conducted a Gap Analysis, comparing the organization’s practices as it relates to the safety of walking and working surfaces and fall protection with evidence-based observations to determine areas of deficiency.   Novisal conducted a Walking-Working Surface physical audit of the Main Medical Center’s boiler and chiller rooms.  During the assessment, the elevated walking-working surfaces within the network of boiler and chiller rooms were reviewed by experienced Novisal EHS staff—including a Certified Industrial Hygienist—for compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D – Walking-Working Surfaces.
