Halmar International - PANYNJ Harrison Train Station Renovation and Post Superstorm Sandy Flood Mitigation

(February 2017 – March 2020)

Novisal provided health and safety consulting and construction safety oversight to Halmar Intl. And subcontractors during the installation of a flood barrier wall and associated flood prevention measures at the PATH Harrison Car Maintenance Facility (HCMF) and PATH Substation 8 (Sub 8). Novisal provided Site Safety Engineers to enforce PANYNJ EHS requirements and the Site-Safety Health and Safety Plan. Work included general H&S oversight; recommendation for corrective actions; daily and final reports, weekly feedback, and project status updates.

Novisal Safety Representatives attended required project meetings. Construction activities were performed near active rail and operational substation and passenger stations, requiring strict safety measures.
