Novisal is currently providing industrial hygiene services at the MTA Police Bethpage and Hastings-on-Hudson stations. Elevated levels of lead were found at mobile firing ranges at both stations. Working under an EHS contract held by D&B Engineers, Novisal provides lead exposure assessments as required under the terms of the contract. This involves both air and wipe sampling, which are sent to an AIHA accredited lab and providing a report of findings with recommendations.
