Contractors who are seeking public work, and need to meet the federal, state or local requirements to include SBEs, DBEs, MBEs or SDVOB subcontractors in your bids or contracts, can work with Novisal to fulfill these conditions.
Novisal is a certified DBE, MBE, and SDVOB Professional Services firm specializing in Occupational Health & Safety. We have very strong experience working on all types of construction projects, including on sites with contaminants, and frequently provide Site Safety, Construction Safety, HSO and community air quality and exposure monitoring services. We do both private and public sector work.
Because we are not part of the Trades, working with Novisal can be an easier path forward for prime contractors to meet the set-aside requirement as we are not subject to the extra levels of insurance or surety bonds needed for construction trades services.
We do not have to provide verification of financial capacity since we have no capital outlay for big equipment, etc. Our cash outlay is limited to payroll and some overhead, minimizing the risk to you as the prime. Our role is limited to observing, reporting, and recommending, plus, we help keep everyone safe!
