Dan has over 12 years’ EHS experience, including 5 years as president of Novisal. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ., a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL., and served as a Unit Safety Manager/ Marine Combat Medic for the U.S. Navy. Dan was instrumental in designing PPE protocols and employee training for a major NYC hospital during the Ebola emergency of 2014; he provided site safety services for several NJ-NY pipeline expansion projects and was the Site Safety manager on multiple hazardous waste remediation sites.
JOSEPH L. SBARRA, CIH
Joe has over 34 years of comprehensive occupational health and safety experience in private industry, consulting, and government. He has managed and conducted audits of comprehensive health and safety programs, construction sites, and hazardous waste sites. He has supervised project environmental, health and safety staff, as well as governmental enforcement staff. He has performed industrial hygiene surveys involving a wide variety of workplace and environmental stressors. Joe has conducted health and safety training programs for construction safety, air monitoring, asbestos, lead, hazardous waste, and respiratory protection. Joe was the lead industrial hygienist for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene contract to assess exposure and safety hazards to City Agency personnel who were involved in responding to Hurricane Sandy. He is also an expert in regulatory compliance for OSHA and NY PESH and has provided expert witness / litigation support services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Rutgers University, NJ and is a Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist.
Collin has over 10 years of environmental, health and safety experience, including several years providing EHS consulting and training services at major hospitals throughout the NY Metropolitan area. He has performed H&S oversight on MGP sites, during pipeline expansion projects and for high-profile asbestos abatement projects. Collin has expertise in Indoor Air Quality investigations, such as mold and fungal assessments, Collin holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science Northeastern University Boston, MA.
Elliot is a Safety Technician with over 5 years’ experience in Construction Management and Safety. He serves as an on-site Health and Safety Officer (HSO) on complex, multi-employer projects. He is responsible for enforcing SSHASPS, and federal, state and local health and safety regulations. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he holds an AS in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University and is certified as an Asbestos Project Monitor and an NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator. Elliot has provided H&S and construction management oversight on projects for regional rail services, high-profile bridge construction, environmentally impacted properties, and facilities with indoor environmental air quality issues.
