Novisal is providing Construction Safety Services to meet the requirements of OSHA and the MTA as well as Air Quality Monitoring Services to meet the requirements of NY CAMP. This is a 2-year, $50M+ project to rehabilitate the Concourse Yard, Mosholu, and Bedford Park Substations and multiple Circuit Breaker Houses in the Borough of the Bronx.
This project involves demolition, renovation and new construction activities, all while stations remained open and trains are actively running. Novisal’s services include Site Safety in support of the prime contractor and subs performing site improvement work such as daily training, oversight of contractor compliance, review and enforcement of the Site-Specific HASP, development and review of JHAs, and enforced Corrective Actions.
Due to the level of dust/silica expected from demolition and construction activities, Novisal is providing Air Quality Monitoring Equipment and monitoring to meet NY Community Air Monitoring and Exposure Monitoring requirements.
