Novisal provides health and safety consulting and construction safety oversight to Halmar Intl. for this very important MTA project that is part of a vast $5.2 billion initiative to adapt the infrastructure of NYC’s subway stations to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at an accelerated pace. This design/build contract includes the construction or refurbishment of 34 elevators and 24 stairways at 13 subway stations spanning across four boroughs. General improvements to path-of-travel are also to be made.

Novisal provides Site Safety Engineers to enforce the MTA strict EHS requirements, including general H&S oversight; recommendation for corrective actions; daily and final reports, weekly feedback, and project status updates. Novisal Safety Representatives attend required project meetings. For all construction activities performed near active subway tracks, strict track safety measures are enforced.
